File Access 360°™

File Access 360°™ is a comprehensive suite of identity-based technologies designed to enable, simplify, extend, and manage network file access in Microsoft Active Directory networks. When you deploy File Access 360°, you expand your organizations’ capabilities for network access while enabling advanced access-based communication and file sharing capabilities.

This is accomplished through the following technologies:

• Remote File Access: Provides users Web-based remote access to your organization’s local network file system.Using Microsoft Active Directory, an authenticated user is granted access to all of the storage areas to which the user has rights. This includes access to the user’s home folder and group share storage areas. Users can download individual files, multiple files, or folders. Additionally, the remote user can upload files, rename files and folders, create folders, delete files and folders, and copy files.
• Web Publishing: The Web publishing technology in File Access 360° enables users and groups to publish and host Websites from the confines of their server-based network storage. The process of publishing is as simple as a user placing Website content in a designated folder. Once placed in the folder, the new or updated Web content is immediately published.
• Mac Access: Mac users and the network administrators who service this growing segment, will appreciate our single login Mac access technology, which grants access to Microsoft network home folders and all group shares to which the user has rights. This identity-based technology utilizes Microsoft Active Directory to view network user and collaborative storage attributes that pertain to a user and then mounts the storage resources accordingly.
• Home Folder and Group Share Desktop Access: The identity-based network access technology greatly simplifies the access and mounting of user home folders and group network shares, without the need for login scripts and drive mappings.Once a user logs in to the network, the access technology built into File System 360° locates and mounts all home folder and group shares to which the user has access. These storage locations also display all of these folders in Windows Explorer.
